These days the sun was very bright - so much that I already got a little tan and a blonder hair. Actually we went on a school trip yesterday, so I had to buy new sunglasses, since I can't find anywhere my old raybans.... Today we didnt have school, so I invited some friends home and we took a couple of photos...Here you are!

Happy Birthday to my Blog + Tagged questions

And yeah, my blog is finally officially six months old!!! Well, in some hours it becomes six months old :) I am so happy about it and it seems fun the fact that I have almost 60 followers in 6 months.....Anyways, My friend Cherry tagged me to some questions, which I am going to answer NOW!


THE QUESTIONS:


1.What does Urban Dictionnary say about your name?

Ugh, so many things....

• a sexy ass mother fucker who gets everything she wants. all the guys wanna fuck her. shes usually extremely horny and likes dick. definitely not me...
•  A crazy-ass anthropology major. Do not be around her when she's drunk or she'll cut your hair with a meat cleaver.
• A big-boobed petite cherie. Most famous for losing things (apart from being big boobed), especially London Oyster cards and occasionally bank cards. Tendency to make outrageous statements.
• A girl who is often sad and lonely but hides it from the world with defiance.

2. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Uhm, I don't really understand what peeve means >.<

3. What's your favourite line from a book?

I really like The House of Night book series, and I love everything in it. All books have nice phrases, but I remember this one. "Actually, since I'm gay I think I should count for two guys instead of just one. I mean, in me you get the male point of view and you don't have to worry about me wanting to touch your boobies." It is  not my favourite, just one I liked, said by my favourite character Damien, that is gay.

4. Are you a day person or a night person?

I like both, but I am afraid of darkness.....However if there are many people around me I love night.

5. If I gave you a flying carpet, what place comes to your mind that you wanna visit first and why?

Definitely England. I am in love with that country, obsessed with everything about it. From the countryside to busy London lifestyle to the tea or the rain.

6. If your life was a book what would be the title and why?

I haven't thought of it much, really. I don't know!!!

7. If you could be in a TV show what would it be and which character would you like to portray? Why?

• The Vampire Diaries- Bonnie. She is a witch, I love witches and I also love her character.
• Lost- Claire. I like the Australian accent, My favourite guy is Charlie, so if I was Claire he would fancy me.Also in Lost, in the first season we also see Ian Somerhalder, that stars in the V.D.
• C.S.I. New York- Detective Stella Bonasera. I don't think I could cope with all that blood, but Melina Kanakaredes is greek, I like all this stuff with evidence and investigations.

8. If you are a time traveler, what time in the past would you like to go back? Why?

I would love to go in Victorian England. As I said before, I like english culture, and I find their past fascinating. Or I would like to visit the colonies at america, at the colonial age. ( I am a huge Age Of Empires fan)

9. Do you cook? If yes, what's your specialty?

Cakes. and Toasts.

10. Do you have a phobia? If yes, what is it? How do you handle it?

Yes. I am afraid of darkness. I cant handle it, I have just accepted it. I also am afraid of all kinds of insects, and I really can't cope with them. I find them disgusting, horrible, annoying and many other adjectives that would take a day to write down.

11. What is your opinion about online dating?

NO. ITS ABSOLUTE.

12. What is romantic for you?

Someone wakes you up, brings breakfast to bed, gives you a gentle kiss and a rose...

Someone takes you for a stroll in the park, and buys you a lollipop, or a teddy bear....

THE FUN FACTS:

1. In the past I used to listen to music every night to fall asleep, with headphones of bad quality at the end of the scale ( i think it was 50). So now, my friends have to repeat something for 5 times, which is funny but annoying.

2. One friend said to me once. I have never seen you sad, I always remember you smiling, laughing without reason, and never crying. I guess I simply can't do elseways....

3. Even if I am 14 and something, when I meet my friend from Athens, I always act like a 7 year-old. We have competitions on Super Mario Bros. and on Sims Castaway.

4. I am a Sims 2 nerd. My record for playing until now is for 14 hour without any breaks, I even ate lunch in front of the screen.

5.I like spying.

6.I still wear my mom's pumps, (although I have mine now) and pretend to be a young version of Heidi Klum.

7.I sleep with a teddy bear EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

8.I am afraid of darkness.thats why I sleep with my teddy.

9.My teddy bear is called mr.Red Cookie. It is a very soft yellow camel from IKEA, with red dots, that remind me of biscuits, and a tongue that looks like he just ate some delicious cookies.

11.My friend from Athens calls me stupid and I call her idiot.

12.At volleyball I tell everyone that I simply havent eaten breakfast so I dont have enough power, instead of telling them that i simplydont have much force.

I am still around!

Just a note to let you know I am still alive :)  I won't make it a normal post, because I run out of time, but I wanna thank Cherry for tagging me to her questions, that I will answer real soon....Right now I am preparing something, because I wanna make my blog a little more interesting :) I will do a post  REAL SOON, for something special to me, but I won't reveal a single thing!!!

Not just entertainment...

Today was a completely different Sunday for me....I didnt sleep all morning, and then stuck to pc screen, instead I had a very productive day.
Me and some other girls, decided to go to the girls' orphanage of my town, for lunch, since we were invited by the director of the place.She is the manager of the camp we go at summer, so she was extremely friendly with us, and all of the girls there were very hospitable. We had brought many presents to them, such as clothes, and a couple of videogames.... Ms Demetra, the manager, was completely ignorant of our intentions, so she didn't expect it. All the girls were soooooo happy when we gave them the presents! And I am happy I spent some of my pocket money for such a good cause :)
We went early in the morning, so they had prepared breakfast, some very tasty home-made croissants, a greek delicacy called bougatsa, some milk and the atmosphere was great....After the breakfast we watched two movies, one with some tigers, and then, the TinkerBell one.
One of the girls, Mary, had her birthday today, and she became 6 years old!!!! Oh, it was soo fun watching her blow the candles!!! We ate so much today, that I definitely got 1 kilo..... :/
after that, we played in the garden a bit, and then we went for lunch....A special italian pasta meal...It was AWESOME. REALLY. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, and I was a bit surprised by the quality of life those girls have. All of them (the older ones) have mobiles, they have playstation and other stuff like consoles, the house is very big, with lots of space, the cooks are very polite and they prepare tasty food.... The only thing that they don't have are they parents.....But they have two very wonderful ladies that spend all their fortunes at that house, and provide them an excellent life! AT the end of the day, we all thanked Ms. Stavroula and Ms. Demetra for the awesome day, we kissed the girls and we left.
Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos today, but next Saturday, I am going on trip with the other girls, and the girls from the orphanage, at Ioannina, a greek city. It is going to be real cold however, and I am a bit worried, cause I don't have many warm clothes.....

Have a nice February!

And yes, it's finally February, which means we are one month closer to summer!!!!
It seems like yesterday when school started, lessons began, rainy weather came to replace the bright summer sun..... But still, those 4 months were not in the mood of winter...... I mean, there were some very sunny days, as well as some rainy ones... But no snow at all.... and what's more characteristic of winter than some snow?????

The first two days of February were really white, and February arrived with much snow, enough for schools to close. Winter paid us back for all these months that were somewhere in the middle. Snowy weather by no means is more pleasurable than lying on the beach and running in the sand, but yet it is quite enjoyable especially if you are with good friends. Then you have everything you need for a nice white day. My beginning of February wasn't so nice, since right now I have fever, and I must attend to the english and french lessons in the afternoon. Bliech, I hate fever...

Dream Sunday

Today my father returned from his trip to Athens, and he brought me my new book, Masquerade!! (Its froma series called Blue bloods, and it is the second book) I missed him, I hadn't seen him since Monday and I am glad he is back. Today we didn't have a volleyball practise because the coach was sick, so I spent some quality time revisioning history for tomorrow's exam. Then I read a bit of my new book.... The day was quite rainy and peaceful, so when my parents decided to go out for lunch I suggested to let me stay at home, so that I could play some piano......The rain is always so inspiring for piano, and so was this sunday... I decided to start  learning La Valse D'Amelie, by Amelie the movie. And my mind travelled to Paris once more....This movie is so niceeeeeeeee. And the music so romantic. And this is how I found what to add to my blog as well. I haven't posted anything about fashion lately, but never mind, because I am in a romantic, peaceful dream atmosphere right now...... And it reminds me totally of Marie Antoinette for some reason. It is a song that leaves you a sweet scent.... Anyway, good night everyone (it is already 22.32 here) and see you soon :)

Little Signs of Early Spring

I know it's a bit too early to talk about spring since it's only january. Today was the best day of January, that's for sure. The weather was just fine, and what can I say?? It wasn't cold at all, actually it was quite hot for winter day, probably because the wind was coming from the south... And souther than Greece is Africa, so yeah, it does make sense....  

Those days are great. Temperature is raising. Winter sales have begun. And speaking of sales, I must say I honored Zara and Bershka those days quite a lot. I bought two other jeans, even if I had bought before one week the blue one, only that this time one is pink and one is grey. I also bought a pair of shorts, a -kind of- blouse, a necklace and a skirt. Yeah that was quite a lot, all in one day.

School is going on very well, I must admit. I am predicting that in the second semester I will maintain my good grades, since exams have started, and I am doing pretty well. Today we got our first mark! Ancient greek- 18.5 out of 20, it is almost the same with first 3-month period, when I got 19. I dont care for half point, the teacher is going to put a very very sweet 19 on my grade card, so everything's fine. And we are writing incredibly many exams these days, at least I am doing well..... You know, we are allowed to write one a day and 3 a week, not more. So this week's program was like : Wed. Biology, Thur. Helen (its actually a literature piece like Oddyssey), Fri. Physics. Next week: Mon. History, Tue. French, Wed, Modern Literature......


This year, I must share my thoughts about it, is going to be great, maybe awesome. I am very optimistic, I mean, I always was, but there was a period, from august to november when all sparkle was away, and nothing kept me going. Yeah, 2012, is definitely going to be my year.  There are moments when you think nothing will change, and then, you see some little ordinary, everyday life things, that shout to you, hey keep going on, if you  give up now, you'll never reach the best times. And for the first time of my life, I understood why we all need goals. I also understood why English people who have retreated want to live their rest of their lives in greek islands, but that's another point..... Greece is an awful (almost) country, but everyone must admit, no other has a sun shining so bright even in the middle of winter. And that's one of the things that keep you in lines.

Anyway, I have a piano lesson, so I will write a bit tomorrow, and post some photos I want!! See you!!!

Uhm, I have to say that I don't understand the question, but if this means favourite product, I am saying for sure: MAYBELLINE NEW YORK- FALSIES BLACK DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think now you will never forget it, I have said it so many times, that I think I would change favourite product only not to say it once more......

2. What's your favourite fashion trend of 2011?

Uhm, I probably liked the one with blazers, the colorful blazers...Yeah, that was my favourite, although I don't have one.

3.What is your favourite dessert?

I love choclates, macaroons, muffins and cupcakes! And pancakes...

4. Favourite color?

My faourite color, it's really hard to tell. I love vibrant colors this period....Like ocean blue, hot pink and bright colors.I still don't like red, nowhere, from clothes to book covers. Dark reds are nice in nail polishes. Purple is nice in room walls. Green is fine on the pavements.

5. What is your middle name?

Uhm here in Greece, it's not very common to give middle names, so, like most of the people, I only have first and last. However Eleni is called in different ways all over the planet, and since I study english and french, I feel like Helene or Elen or Eline is like my middle name.

6. What was the last song you listened to?
It was Swagger Jagger by Cher Lloyd.

7. Cats or Dogs?
Cats! However my parents won't let me own one...

One thing I have never mentioned in my blog.
Uhm, I am very unlucky and 2011 was the top of all my lack of luck. It seemed like the worst year to me. My friend's mother died, she had cancer and she was 43 years old. Then my best friend died in the summer, and he was 16 years old........

New Year, New start...

I wish you all had a great New Year's eve!!! Me, I had a great time with friends, and I hope that 2012 will be as good as the first day! Anyway, as the title says, with a new year, there is a new start. And what's better than making a new start with your blog???
So, I decided to change it completely, but still I am not done...I wanna add some music, but I have no idea what it will be...My new name is Living in a fairytale.I know this doesnt remind a lot of Paris, but it's ok! I had alot of trouble with the width and all this stuff, so I finally am able to prsent my blog at...uhm...precisely 00.00 (greek time)!! I managed to fix, although it took me enough time....
My new  blog:

I am also creating a silly thing, which I call "label collection". It's nothing more than a notebook, full of labels. You know, I've wanted to start something like this for many years, and now I finally started it.I've already filled two pages, with labels. Most of them are from Zare, but it's ok, because they are funny :P I know, I am completely random, but before you had read this, you should firstly read the brief description on the profile.

They disgrace the memory.....

Another day at school brought to me more disappointment, like I didn't have enough already.
This time, most children of the whole school left, in order to protest for Alexis.

Alexis was a teenager that got killed by a policeman before 4 years.

He was 16 years old.

People, teens, where in a chaos, screaming different slogans, abusive for the policemen.

Murderer, after trial, was sentenced to ter life imprisonment.

Children, up until now, refuse to have lessons on 6/12, in order to protest about the unjustly shed Alex.

I am not against protesting for his death. I am against those, who exploit his death, in order to miss some lesson hours. I am against leaving school, in order to go to a protest march, but not knowing why. I am against all this, because acting like a sheep, and doing what they all do, doesn't mean you are cool. A boy's life is gone and they find this a way of leaving school. This is all rubbish. By this way, not only don't they honour his death, but actually they disgrace it.......

That was the sad story of Alexis Grigoropoulos.A 15 year old boy, killed by a policeman's gunshot.

Tea Party

We will be making a theatrical show at school and it wil contain a tea party scene.... I'm totally obsessed with tea parties, so I got REALLY excited when they announced the idea. They also ask someone to be responsible for the music, and since I love mixing songs and choosing soundtracks, I offered....The thing is that I dont know what to do now! Anyway, we have done almost...5 rehearsals until now, and i must say that the kids playing ar a bit funny, they cant do their job very well, so I started to think that the whole thing might turn out to be a disastrous comedy, instead of a romantic story.........

28th of October

The 28th of October, here in Greece, is a national celebration. On the eve of this day, every school has a special fest, where the students read poems, the school choir sings, and the best students are honored with a special Exellence award. Now, the actual day of the 28th of October, which is today, everything is closed and some students of each school march in the city, in front of all the citizens, so that they honor our admirable ancestors. Anyway, the six best students of each school, march in front of the others. After the march, most of the children go to a cafe or a restaurant to eat.
